Our stance on AI
The agent does the tedious work. People keep the craft.
gejm.dev does not replace artists or game developers. It lets them build better code faster, and gives them working first drafts of models to take into Blender and finish properly.
What the agent does
-
The plumbing
Wiring scripts, colliders, sockets and export settings.
-
The checking
Playing the game, querying the world and proving each behaviour with a test.
-
The drafts
Models at gameplay scale for an artist to finish, and proposals for the bible.
-
The reproductions
Replaying exactly what a tester saw, from the replay their playtest note carries.
What it never does
-
Change canon
Every change to the bible is a proposal a person accepts.
-
Give a verdict
People judge whether a behaviour is right.
-
Ship as finished art
Drafts are where you start, not what ships.
-
Talk to your players
The agent builds and tests; players never meet it.
Your work stays yours
-
No training on your work
What your team makes is never used to train a model.
-
Your models
Bring your own agent and your own model connections.
-
Your hosting
The engine runs on your machine, and the bible can run on your premises.
-
Marked provenance
Every generated image is marked with its prompt and model.
